Here we are another year gone and back for our 10th Annual Disabled American Veterans Golf Classic. The war wages on in Iraq and Afghanistan and the economy is teetering on a down slide.This fall we are in full throttle in a political campaign that will have far reaching effects for all of our futures.With all of this, we hope you exercise your right to vote and participate in YOUR government.
Considering all of these issues, the DAV continues to provide service to those most in need.We want to express our gratitude to all of you who are participating in the tournament today and to all of our sponsors who continue to unselfishly support our efforts.Without you, countless numbers of veterans would not have transportation to VA medical facilities for much needed treatment.Needless to say many of these same veterans are feeling the economic effects and are counting on our support.
To our golfers, think of the great privilege it is to stand at the tee and swing your club hitting the ball and getting that perfect shot.Many of our fellow veterans can only think about what it is you are doing.They simply can’t.And to all, that perfect shot will help us provide a perfect record of service.THANK YOU!
